Registered Massage Therapist
Mission Statement: To positively impact every client that comes into contact with me by educating them on the power of touch, while being compassionate, patient, optimistic and creating a safe and beneficial treatment plan for each individual.
My passion for the power of touch began when I was just a small girl. My father worked the trades, standing in his heavy work boots all day. He would come home, set his lunch bag down and unlace the thick leather boots. I would sit on the kitchen floor, and proceed to give his tired feet a well-deserved rub. As initiative, it was our agreement that after his foot rub, I could have whatever change was in his pocket. Some days there were only pennies, other days my hard work and dedication would pay off in the form of a loonie or two. As the years went by, my interest in touch continued to develop. Going to school for massage therapy was something I kept in the back of my mind for many years after graduating high school. It wasn’t until 2016 that I decided to take the plunge. Upon discovering MH Vicars School of Massage Therapy, I knew I had found the right place to turn my passion into my career. My first day of classes I knew that I had made the right decision. It was a beautiful thing to learn the science behind what I had intuitively been doing for all those years. As a 2018 graduate of MH Vicars School of Massage Therapy and an active member of the Massage Therapist Association of Alberta I am ready to hit the ground running by being the first RMT with Junction Point Physiotherapy. In the coming months and years I plan on continuing my education in the fields of Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Myofascial Release and Craniosacral therapies to further benefit my clients.
